The lace saucer - this hat block is an amazing antique import and is a moulded saucer style beret that has a clever up built back to hold it high. So I decided to make her dramatic. Black parisisol base covered with floral vine guipuire lace. To enhance the shape stiffened lace has been cut and placed to extend the vine. A black velvet inner is so comfortable and elastic. Ensures she stays in place.
